History 

Inspired by a God-given vision, Pastor Gordon was set on fulfilling God’s purposes for his life to inform the world of the life changing power of the Lord Jesus Christ. His passion to spread the gospel led him to Perfect Peace Ministries.

Perfect Peace Ministries is an outreach ministry committed to teaching the pure unadulterated Word of God. It began as a radio broadcast on WTMR 800 AM in 1990, reaching Southern New Jersey, Philadelphia and Delaware. Since that time Perfect Peace has grown to include television, broadcasting in 3 states, enabling thousands to hear the Word of God and become involved in a true dynamic worship experience.

Perfect Peace Ministries has become a major instrument to St. Matthew’s Baptist Church, located in Williamstown, New Jersey, where Dr. Raymond M. Gordon, Sr. is Senior Pastor. Through the anointed and powerful teaching of Dr. Gordon, thousands have been saved, broken marriages mended, families strengthened, relationships restored, and cultural boundaries broken.

As a result, of Perfect Peace Ministries, St. Matthew’s Baptist Church has grown from a membership of less than 200 to over 8,000. People from all ages, races, denominations and walks of life have been taught, developed and nourished by the Word of God.

Dr. Raymond M. Gordon, Sr. presents the Word of God through a systemic verse-by-verse exposition, allowing for a practical application and understanding of how to live out a Christ centered life. Through personal testimony, Dr. Gordon has shared the awesome power of God.

Our vision is to permeate the globe and penetrate the heart with the Pure, Practical and Therapeutic Word of God.  It is our mission to Evangelize the unsaved, Encourage and Equip the saved and Energize the local Body of Christ.
