Aquatics Center

Indoor Jr. Olympic size Pool.  Our six lane 25 meter pool is open to the public and is used for swim lessons, open swim time, aqua classes like Aquasize and Aqua Zumba, lifeguard training classes, private adult and child swim lessons and special events.  Our Aquatic center is unique to Williamstown and offers a great resource to our community.

We offer the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.  There are several levels for all age groups when it comes to learning how to swim and mastering the swim technique.  All lessons are open to all ages from infant to adult.  We have a passion for everyone to be safe in and around the water.

The Rec Center at St. Matthew’s is the Center of Change.  We are a Community Recreation Center open to the public focused on the Health, Wellness and Fitness of our Community.  Our Mission is to be the Center of Change for everyone we work with so you may experience reaching your goals no matter if it is weight loss, building muscle mass, training for your first 5K or simply having the energy to chase your kids around the yard.  We want Our Community to be the healthiest community in the country!

New state of the art cardio and strength training equipment that include; Hammer Strength plate loaded machines, Cybex, Precore Treadmills and Bikes, Ellipticals, Concept II Rower, Free Weights and much more.  A great way to guarantee results is to work with a                        Certified Personal Trainer.  We offer many one on one training packages as well as Small Group Personal Training packages.

Group Exercise Classes.  The Rec Center offers multiple classes per day and over 27 classes per week.  One of the best ways to achieve results and stick with an exercise program is to participate in group classes.  We offer some of the following classes each week:  Yoga, Line Dancing, Aquasize, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Yoga, Boot Camp, Indoor Cycle, Core for Life and more.  For current schedule click on the website link: reccentersm.com
